DOOM AWAITS THOSE THAT DRAW BACK FROM GOD Preached ON 21st April, 2023 By PASTOR CHIZOBA UDOCHUKWU Approved and Authorized By Apostle Peter Odoemena THE SON OF MAN

Nobody can avoid the Son of Man. If you avoid my face while you are alive, you will see my face in death. Believe it if you can…

EXAMINE YOUR FAMILY LIFE. PG. 3

He decided to make us holy in His own eyes without a single fault. In other words, He that will justify you is with you. Once He has justified you, you are justified. That is why He pushed it this way: “If the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed.” I remembered the prophecy we heard those days, that the Justifier of the Gentiles is on the scene, and the Destroyer of the Gentiles is on the scene also. It is a prophecy. He that will justify the Gentiles is here.

GOD HAS COUNTED ME WORTHY, PUTTING ME INTO THIS MINISTRY; Preached on Sunday 13th August, 2000Pg. 71 vs. 7 – 8

YOUR FAITH DETERMINES YOUR FATE

Great is the faithfulness of God from generation to generation. He has been good to all and sundry that call upon his holy name with good hearts.

  1. While thanking and praising God for what he has done in our lives, rejoicing for his words duly coming to pass before our very eyes, we keep on reminding ourselves of those things he taught us lest we remove our eyes from He that called us to glory and honour, an action with great spiritual consequences.
  2. Once that happens, spiritual death, second spiritual captivity follows and no one comes out easily from such a condition. That is why the Lord enjoins his people at every point in time in every generation to make his words their highest priority.
  3. Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night.
  4. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates. Deuteronomy 6:6-9 MSG.
  5. Look at the sequence, the order as arranged by God. We have to first of all get the messages inside of us. We have to internalize them, get ourselves rooted and grounded in the word of truth as handed over to us by the father of all flesh.
  6. When we are sure and certain these things have fully settled in us by day and by night, we can defend the truth in words and in deeds, then we can transfer same to our children and all that are under our care because we cannot give what we do not possess. It is then and only then that we can be ready to answer any human being the hope that is in us with every amount of boldness.
  7. He is a God of continuity, not when you start doing the will of God today, tomorrow you stop and you will be quoting yesterday as a day you had, but you don’t have it again today.
  8. In Exodus 19:9, God made it clear that he wants our faith in him, our belief, our loyalty and submissiveness to be forever, not being loyal today and rebelling tomorrow.
  9. And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord KJV.
  10. It is believed that since the cloud leads straight to God, anybody that is revealed by the pillar of cloud attracts the faith of God’s children forever. That is within the period the man God dwells in is in his ministry. Those that say they are convinced are expected to pay heed to him all through their lifetime.
  11. This same thick cloud has been tabernacling among us for years. The aim of God displaying the pillar of cloud in every age has remained the same thing – so that God’s people shall know he is the One and by so doing, unbelief will be banished.
  12. It is expected that once we have anchored our faith in Him, we start growing from faith to faith and not drawing back along the way. This is why the spirit of God is not pleased with many people.
  13. 10:38-39 LB. And those whose faith has made them good in God’s sight must live by faith, trusting him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them. But we have never turned our backs on God and sealed our fate. No, our faith in him assures our souls’ salvation.
  14. If you have ever anchored your faith, your belief, at one time or the other in Jehovah, in the WORD made flesh, in the Christ of our day and the faith you exercised in him has ever profited you something good no matter how small, the scripture said you MUST keep living by that same faith in him, you must keep trusting him, relying on him, confiding in him, believing in him in everything pertaining to life and godliness.
  15. That vine branch relationship must always be maintained so that He will not disappoint you at the time of need. Shrinking back, that is acting otherwise after benefiting from this faith in one way or the other will attract God’s displeasure.
  16. This faith has made us good all round starting from opening our eyes of understanding for us to realize how blind we have been to the things of God. We have been wasting our precious time pursuing mere shadows, struggling all we could thinking we were pleasing God not knowing we were struggling our way into hellfire.
  17. Exercising our faith in Christ got us reconciled to God; hence we that were not called a people of God are now true sons and daughters of God and no longer strangers. What can we say about the information, education and enlightenment this faith has given to us, using the base things of this world to confound the wisdom of the wise people of this world according to 1 Corinthians 1:26-31
  18. Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you got called into this life. I don’t see many of “the brightest and the best” among you, not many influential, not many from high-society families. Isn’t it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these “nobodies” to expose the hollow pretensions of the “somebodies”?
  19. That makes it quite clear that none of you can get by with blowing your own horn before God. Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. That’s why we have the saying, “If you’re going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God.”
  20. blow a horn, a trumpet, sing a song of praise to no other personality but God alone for all he has done for us. God has remained the same from generation to generation.
  21. Everything that we have—right thinking, good sense of judgment, insight, foresight, good reasoning, and right living, God-controlled life, boycotting of excesses in life, simple and humble life, maintaining a route that is not competitive, a clean slate, forgiveness of sins, true righteousness that comes from him alone, right standing with God, clean consciences before God, before man and a fresh start, an opportunity to live a fresh, new and better life all over — they all come from Apostle Peter Odoemena (BBHHN), the Almighty God, the Christ of our day.
  22. In all generations, God has never taken delight in working with self-made or man-made personalities, no. He delights himself in God-made individuals. That is, those that glory in what God has wrought in them.God does not call the qualified, rather, he qualifies those he calls.
  23. Watch the first man, Adam who was not in existence until God brought him into existence through the handwork of God. He never knew his left from his right; no life in him. He was just an inanimate structure when he was formed. God used his own breath to stimulate and sustain Adam, that is original life. Hence, anybody that is not sustained by the breath of God, the life of God, which is the word of God is living a fake life. Even though he or she is living, yet he is dead.
  24. God nurtured Adam to recognize who he was to the extent that he was placed in charge of all other creatures. God nurtured him until he was able to develop the mind of God, that right thinking that enabled him to name other creatures including Eve, all approved by God.
  25. When God was through with him, He was coopted by God into the ministry; he was trained by God to be a part of creation.
  26. What can we say about the father of our faith Abraham? I am saying that right from time, God has been in the business of making something out of nothing.
  27. Hence the Lord – the Son of Man said, You must count yourself as a blessed people that what could not happen in the big, big, super, super denominations are happening in the midst of these people that are considered as babes. Babes! Any big name in our midst? Despised things of the world, God decided to walk in our midst, proving himself to be the only God that is found in despised places. Holding unto the Certainty of the Faith: for Thereunto I am Born Vol. 2 29th December, 1997 at the Household of God, Onitsha pg 68:50-51
  28. He turned down going to big, big churches so that no other will glory before him saying he was something before the arrival of this holy man. Because all that will attain righteousness must attain it through him or never.
  29. Jesus Christ made it plain that a healthy fellow has no need of a physician. God told Gideon that going to war with too many soldiers meant giving his due glory to mere mortals when he finally worn the war because they would be bragging they were able to win the war based on their numerical strength.
  30. Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Now, see what angers him. What displeases him, what irritates and infuriates him is this – after picking us from nothing to something and we start acting as if we have any alternative in life apart from God.
  31. Anyone that starts drawing back after benefiting from him, the spirit of Truth will turn against such a person.
  32. 10:38-39 LB. And those whose faith has made them good in God’s sight must live by faith, those, those, those – not everybody because not all have this kind of faith. It has been unraveled and revealed to us as a token that he never called us to obtain his wrath, but his promised eternal life, to us this arm of the Lord, the word of encouragement is sent.
  33. And those whose faith has made them good in God’s sight must live by faith, trusting him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them. But we have never turned our backs on God and sealed our fate.
  34. F A T E, according to Cambridge Dictionary, means what happens to a particular person or thing, especially something final or negative, such as death or defeat.
  35. Turn your back on God and seal your fate. You will help Him to draw judgment against you and conclude your case immediately on a fatal note because you turned your back on mercy for Christ is our mercy seat.
  36. We are to keep drawing closer to him in repentance, accepting our faults, making amendments where they are needed. That is the only way forward in Christ.
  37. The moment you turn your back on him for any reason at all, you have chosen to meet your doom because your fate, that is, your eternal destiny in hell will be automatically sealed by God;
  38. In no distant time, wicked people shall be exterminated from this earth. All that knew not God, all that never believed God, all that never took the word of God seriously; all that have been ridiculing the truth; all that have been playing hypocrisy. All the godless people shall be removed from this earth. Heaven Made Possible (Introduction) by the Son of Man, Sunday, 19th April, 2020 at the Bridal Lodge, Nsugbe, Anambra State, Nigeria. pg. 69:1.
  39. In other words, they can never fight this battle and win it. The battle must claim such people’s lives because their fate, their eternal destiny in hell has been sealed by their turning back on God.
  40. pg 78:29-30 So, now that God is still talking, he is talking to people in the ark, and not to people that have been sealed out because of their unbelief. These are people that have patiently endured everything and followed the Son of Man into the ark. And he is now polishing them, furnishing them, strengthening them so that when he will empty them in paradise, it will be peace, peace, peace, peace.
  41. This should give us all a serious concern. Because of unbelief, some have been sealed out, marked out of option among those he is considering for selection, those who will dwell with him eternally. One can be in the fellowship, joining in church activities yet he or she has turned his/her back on God.
  42. The person becomes unnecessarily dormant. Nothing can be preached to put such a fellow into desperation anymore. That the entrance of the word of God rekindles the right attitude in a man is not for such a person. He or she has drawn line in the heart. The fellow has personal interpretation for every word of God and every development among God’s children. No revival of any sort is generated from the word of God in such a person again.
  43. The word of God starts sounding common and boring to the person. Whatever he is doing will be by compulsion because he is not self-sacrificing. If he claims to offer anything to God, he will behave like Cain who had his eyes on the offering he made to God.
  44. The Forgotten Books of Eden, by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr., [1926], Chapter 77:5-8 Then God looked upon Abel and accepted his offering. And God was MORE pleased with Abel than with his offering, because of his good heart and pure body. There was no trace of guile in him.
  45. Then they came down from the altar, and went to the cave in which they dwelt. But Abel, by reason of his joy at having made his offering, repeated it three times a week, after the example of his father Adam.
  46. A real seed of God learns good example and delights in doing those things that please God. But a religious fellow does not care whether God is pleased or not; he concentrates on pleasing self and the devil. Know that such a person’s fate has been sealed waiting for the day of execution.
  47. Watch, Cain was being pushed by his father to offer sacrifice to God.
  48. But as to Cain, he took no pleasure in offering; but after much anger… Note it. After much anger. Who has ever worked out God’s righteous demand, who has ever done God’s will through anger? Because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires James 1:20 NIV.
  49. In the case of Cain, his own anger was even MUCH not moderate, not ordinary anger. Evil begets evil. It all starts from small, if left unchecked, it grows into a gigantic evil that can not only destroy the individual, but the family or even the society.

While I am here, I am the Light of the world; Whoever follows Me can never grope in darkness. Take Me away, you are living in darkness and you must stumble: I say, you must stumble because I am paving the way for you. Did you get what I said? No matter the way you look at it, across the other way, you cannot hear another voice than the One you are hearing now. All that have been privileged to be taken over to the other side, they never heard any other voice than the Voice of the Bridegroom that is speaking in our midst. Are you getting what I am saying?

-THE SON OF MAN-

NOW I KNOW THAT THOU ART A MAN OF GOD; Teaching on Sunday 28th February, 1999;; Pg. 179 vs. 17 – 18

2

OUR FAITH IN HIM ASSURES OUR SALVATION

But as to Cain, he took no pleasure in offering; but after much anger on his father’s part, he offered up his gift once; and when he did offer up, his eye was on the offering he made, and he took the smallest of his sheep for an offering, and his eye was again on it.

  1. Therefore God did not accept his offering, because his heart was full of murderous thoughts. That is the attribute of Cain’s descendants. They offer grudgingly and still have their eyes on what they have offered.
  2. They are persuaded, forced or compelled to do God a service. Their action is always a product of series of meetings, persuasions, threats, etc and it doesn’t last long.
  3. Cain just offered once grudgingly and with much anger in his heart. He did not go further, yet he kept regretting the little he offered. Anyone having Cain’s nature can never worship God acceptably, though the person can be religiously present in the assembly of God’s people.
  4. If it is service that the person renders, instead of thanking God for such an opportunity to be useful to his fellow human beings, instead of asking why me, the person will attribute righteousness to the services as if there is any service you can render to qualify you for eternal life. The person has now rated sacrifices and services higher than obedience to the truth, which is contrary to the word of God that it is better to obey God than to sacrifice.
  5. Watch our attitudes today towards worshipping of God. Many people that call themselves God’s children still find it very difficult to give offering, which is a part of fivefold worship. How many people can just decide on their own to offer sacrifice to God apart from nominal offerings we give during fellowships?
  6. Cain was wheel barrowed, pushed and persuaded by his father to do it; he became very much angry with his father, because he lacked the conviction of who God is. He did it just once and had his rest, mourning over the wasted offering that was not even accepted by God, something he threw into the air.
  7. Anyone who calls himself or herself a seed of God that always waits for a reminder before he does anything pertaining to God is from Cain’s linage. However, if this attitude is acquired through evil contact, God calls for self-awareness – oh child of God, know thyself!
  8. Pull yourself away from Cain’s descendants so that you will do God an acceptable service and offer acceptable offerings unto him continually. Lose the colt for you have been tying yourself to the stake of Cain.
  9. Stop placing your sacrifice on that of Cain because what happened to Cain and his sacrifice will also happen to you and your sacrifice. These things were written and preserved for our learning so that we can avoid repeating past mistakes.
  10. Let us go back to that scripture. Heb. 10:38-39 LB And those whose faith has made them good in God’s sight must live by faith, trusting him in everything.
  11. Those whose faith has made good in the sight of God. Not in the sight of your heathen friends and relations for their ways, thoughts and assessments about what a child of God should be like can never be the same with God’s ways, thoughts and assessments.
  12. Not in the sight of unbelievers within because they do not see anything good in God; hence they call evil good and call good evil. Not expecting the heathens to confirm your doctrine or to talk good about your doctrine. Not trying to be the commendation letter of the heathens instead of seeking God’s commendation.
  13. If all the heathens praise you and God has not commended you, your faith has not done you any good in the sight of God.
  14. Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed (Building a Peaceful Home) 1 by the Son of Man 12th May, 2018 pg. 17:11 – 14 Seeing that you cannot avoid criticism, do you now please all men? Reason within yourself whether it is better to please all men you know you can never please.
  15. Who has ever pleased all human beings? At a time you think you are pleasing them, you are causing them more harm. They are hating you the more. No man that has ever aimed at pleasing his fellow man has ever succeeded in worshipping God rightly.
  16. To worship God aright and be perfect before God is to look up to God alone, provided God is pleased with you. That settles the matter. To hell with everybody. I say, “To hell”. Let the whole world be liars, but let God be the only truthful one.
  17. When you have this Philosophy at the back of your mind, it becomes a guide unto your decisions, a guide unto your actions, a guide towards your relationship with people. Let the whole world hate me, but may God love me. Let them despise me but let God commend me. That is why, if God has not found fault with you, nobody has ever faulted you. You have no fault until God has faulted you.
  18. Who is that God that will either declare you faulty or faultless? John 5:22-23 AMP Even the Father judges no one, for He has given all judgment (the last judgment and the whole business of judging) entirely into the hands of the Son, So that all men may give honor (reverence, homage) to the Son just as they give honor to the Father.
  19. [In fact] whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, Who has sent Him. That is why we must work hard so that the Son of Man in our midst and no other, will tell us ‘well done’ upon his examination of our work, our performance.
  20. You cannot work hard for the devil, work hard to please the heathens, work hard for your selfish aggrandizement and expect God to say well done to you. Hence the Son of Man said, What a man is labouring for may turn out to be what will hinder him peace, what will hinder him eternal life. This is what he is labouring for.
  21. He is labouring to use his wealth, time and money to purchase upset, something that will upset him. Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed (Building a Peaceful Home) Vol. 1 12/05/2018 pg. 22:28
  22. We go back to that scripture. Heb.
  23. Our faith in the indestructible asylum, the Christ of our day, our believing in him has given us total rest from laboring in wrong direction, toiling in an impossible road. The faith we have in Christ has unburdened us of religious yoke which is very cumbersome.
  24. Our faith in Christ has made us to take up Christ’s yoke, which is very light. Our faith in him assures and reassures us of the salvation of our souls. Even if this mortal flesh burns off, rots away or dies now, we are very sure and certain, like Job, that as far as we have this unflinching faith in the Christ of our day, the very Son of Man, our souls’ salvation is guaranteed now we are in the end.
  25. 10:21-24 GNB We have a great priest in charge of the house of God.  So let us come near to God with a sincere heart and a sure faith, with hearts that have been purified from a guilty conscience and with bodies washed with clean water.
  26. This great priest is the high priest of our profession. He is in charge of God’s house because he is the temple templing Christ. So let us come near to him because He is the Lord God Almighty. Let us draw near to him with purified hearts as his word has cleansed as many as have accepted him.
  27. Let us hold on firmly to the hope we profess, because we can trust God to keep his promise. Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. We trust God to keep his promise to us because he means what he says. It is in line with this that we help one another to see it in this light of truth. Any concern, help, assistance you are extending to one another which is not helping the person to remain rooted and grounded in the truth is carnal assistance and must perish with the user.
  28. Any one drawing near to Christ knows what he is coming for – to suffer with Christ so as to enjoy with him eternally. So, do not exchange God’s charge for miserable comfort, showing concern only on material things while your brother’s or sister’s soul is growing lean every day. That is why we have to encourage one another with these words.
  29. 10:38-39MSG But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust; any one who is in right standing with Christ must thrive, survive, do well and succeed in obtaining the promised eternal life only on loyal trust; not disloyal trust because there is great virtue in loyalty.
  30. How can you say you put all your trust in Christ without being loyal to Him? To be loyal means to be reliably devoted and dedicated to the course of Christ. Trust without loyalty is no trust at all and it attracts God’s displeasure. When God is not pleased with an individual, what else is the essence of the person’s existence?
  31. But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust; if he cuts and runs, I won’t be very happy. If we are not persistent in the faith we profess, the Lord will not be very happy with us. We cannot make it through rising and falling.
  32. Let us run steadily the divine race that is set before us, not running and cutting. But we’re not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We’ll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.
  33. 11:1 MSG The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. Halleluiah! Have you seen the basis of measuring if your life is worth living or not?
  34. An unexamined life is not worth living; and the scripture says this examination must be progressive and in line with the fundamental fact of existence which is this faith that has made us to have loyal trust in God. Yes, because a faithless individual obtaineth absolutely nothing from God, that is why having faith in the revealed Christ of your day is the most important element of survival in Christ.
  35. The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living.
  36. So, anybody that does not have trust in Christ, that is not loyal to the word of God, that is not actively dedicated and devoted to the course of Christ has no firm foundation in Christ. He or she is on the peripheral, on the surface; exposed to every wind of doctrine. The person’s life is not worth living.
  37. The person may have foundation in evil, in wickedness, in religion, but such foundations are not firm because when they are tested by time, by spiritual storm and flood, the building must collapse for anything not planted by God must be uprooted. That is why God enjoins us to crosscheck our foundation.
  38. Too many people did not break the old foundation when they identified with Christ. They started using the word of God to build upon a false foundation, with the result that such buildings cannot stand the test of time.
  39. God knew it ahead of time when he pleaded with us to do away completely with all our preconceived ideas about what God was like, how he should behave, who he should be and which type of people he will have as his redeemed. What and what should constitute righteousness and holiness. What a personality that is called God should be like and how he should be acting if he is God really. All these things formed our foundation in the beginning.
  40. As many as evacuated those debris from their spiritual systems and allowed God to work in them by establishing a firm foundation, God has now started working through them, using them to the praise of his name. Any foundation laid by God is very firm and can never be shaken by any circumstance. But if the foundation of anybody’s life is on something else, the person can never go far.
  41. 2 Timothy 2:19AMP: But the firm foundation of (laid by) God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it.
  42. NIV: Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”
  43. There is no way God can work through an individual without first of all working in that person. God must work in you and on you before he can work through you. Working in the individual cannot be possible without God shaking the old foundation, excavating it and re-establishing a fresh godly foundation. This will enable God to work in the individual; after which he will start using the individual to further God’s course; that is, God working through him or her.
  44. 11:1 MSG The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.
  45. Our unflinching faith in Christ sets us above the crowd. Once you are in the crowd, the cloud is not for you. You must be set above the crowd for the cloud to envelope you. Hence the message, Are You following the Crowd or the Cloud?
  46. A faithless fellow is a crowd follower because he obeys the direction of the force from the crowd seeing that he/she has no solid foundation in Christ. There is life in the word of God if we can pay closer attention.
  47. God is never pleased with anyone who has seen and known his glory, benefited from him, only for the person to start drawing back.
  48. 1:29-33 MSG “Because you hated Knowledge and had nothing to do with the Fear-of-God, Because you wouldn’t take my advice and brushed aside all my offers to train you, Well, you’ve made your bed—now lie in it;
  49. you wanted your own way—now, how do you like it? Don’t you see what happens, you simpletons, you idiots? Carelessness kills; complacency is murder. First pay attention to me, and then relax. Now you can take it easy—you’re in good hands.” The safest hand one can find oneself is in the hand of God.
  50. Well, you’ve made your bed—now lie in it; you wanted your own way—now, how do you like it? There is no way you can lead yourself, setting the Son of Man’s word aside without landing yourself and all your followers into intractable troubles.
  51. The call to follow Christ is forward ever and backward never. At any time you think you have no need of God’s guidance and leadership again, he will ask you, now, how do you like the bed you have made for yourself?
  52. When Adam was ejected from the Garden of Eden where God was fully in control, he started recounting sorrowfully the vast differences between the good old days when God was there for them and when they were left to fend for themselves.
  53. 1:29-33 AMP Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord [that is, obeying Him with reverence and awe-filled respect], They would not accept my counsel, and they spurned all my rebuke. “Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own [wicked] way and be satiated with [the penalty of] their own devices.
  54. “For the turning away of the [a]naive will kill them, And the careless ease of [self-righteous] fools will destroy them. “But whoever listens to me (Wisdom) will live securely and in confident trust and will be at ease, without fear or dread of evil.”

Now, we know the Personality that is standing in our midst.  He is the Last Hope of mankind, the Only and sure Anchor that will never disappoint, The only Link you have with The Light. In other words, as long as I am on the scene, I am the Light of the world. Whoever that leaves Me must wallow in darkness…..

LIVING BEYOND THE PRIMITIVE SIDE OF LIFE; Preached on 3rd June 2007 at the Household of God, Onitsha; Pg. 40 vs. 6 – 7

ANYBODY DRAWING BACK IS FULFILLING DANGEROUS SCRIPTURE

Proverbs 14:12-14 LB Before every man there lies a wide and pleasant road that seems right but ends in death. The scripture never said it is before some people – before every man. Who can now say he/she does not need God’s perpetual guidance?

  1. It will take the spirit of Christ in a man to make a total difference in that man, man religion. Looking at how beautifully decorated places of worship are, who can believe that it is an impossible road to heaven. Such places have received wide acceptance as God’s home in the eyes of men who have no knowledge of Christ because human beings are experts in walking by sight.
  2. Before every man there lies a wide and pleasant road that seems right but ends in death. Laughter cannot mask a heavy heart. When the laughter ends, the grief remains.
  3. The backslider gets bored with himself; the godly man’s life is exciting. Have you seen it? When the word of God becomes boring to you, no revival again, know it that you have backslidden in heart. Attendance to fellowship becomes anyhow, business as usual. Not that there is anything that touches your life for good.
  4. Drawing back from God comes with too many awful implications before doom climaxes it.
  5. John 17:12 During my time here I have kept safe within your family all of these you gave me.[a] I guarded them so that not one perished, except the son of hell, as the Scriptures foretold
  6. It has been the will of the father that none of his children should ever develop cold feet or draw back because to move forward with Christ is life eternal, drawing back brings you face to face with Satan who guides such a fellow to hell.
  7. Only sons and daughters of hell draw back from following Christ because they were not called of him.
  8. Those that are within God’s family and are called according to His purpose are always guarded against perishing using the word of God which is truth.
  9. While I was with them, I kept and preserved them in Your Name [[a]in the knowledge and worship of You]. Those You have given Me I guarded and protected, and not one of them has perished or is lost except the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot—the one who is now doomed to destruction, destined to be lost], that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
  10. Anybody that cannot be kept and sustained by the name of the revealed Christ of our day is a son or daughter of perdition. The essence of God teaching us is for us to come to full knowledge of the truth about his existence so we can constantly worship him acceptably. That is why He remains our indestructible asylum wherein we shall run to, loyally trusting him to preserve us unto the consummation of all things.
  11. 1 John 5:3-10 LBLoving God means doing what he tells us to do, and really, that isn’t hard at all; for every child of God can obey him, defeating sin and evil pleasure by trusting Christ to help him.
  12. Obeying God helps us to defeat sin (unbelief) and evil pleasures associated with this ungodly world. That is why believing in Christ and obeying him is our righteousness. Loving God means doing what he tells us to do, and really, that isn’t hard at all;for every child of God can obey him, defeating sin and evil pleasure by trusting Christ to help him. But who could possibly fight and win this battle except by believing that Jesus is truly the Son of God?
  13. Nobody can ever win this battle against falsehood, against the world, against trials and temptations, evil appetites and desires that are capable of dragging someone backwards in this race without consistently believing in Christ.
  14. Aside constancy and continuity in Christ, it is impossible to run this race unto the end; only believe and remain believing. Otherwise, the person must halt along the way to attend to the devil. One whose faith is tossed here and there can never win this fight.
  15. Loving God means doing what he tells us to do, and really, that isn’t hard at all;for every child of God can obey him, defeating sin and evil pleasure by trusting Christ to help him and we know he is, because God said so with a voice from heaven when Jesus was baptized, and again as he was facing death[a]—yes, not only at his baptism but also as he faced death.
  16. And the Holy Spirit, forever truthful, says it too. So we have these three witnesses: the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, the voice from heaven at Christ’s baptism, and the voice before he died. And they all say the same thing: that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  17. We believe men who witness in our courts, and so surely we can believe whatever God declares. And God declares that Jesus is his Son. All who believe this know in their hearts that it is true. If anyone doesn’t believe this, he is actually calling God a liar because he doesn’t believe what God has said about his Son.
  18. God’s vindications as we have been witnessing are enough to sustain our faith. Anybody dragging his feet is trying to call God a liar, and no one can succeed in making God a liar because only God is truth. We have heard that same divine voice of the Holy Spirit from excellent glory confirming that it behoveth the Son of Man to fulfill all righteousness.
  19. No other individual has received this auction in our day. The same Holy Spirit in him brought back the ancient pillar of cloud (the shekhinah), the Godhead and the original body of Christ. The same spirit of truth bears witness in the hearts of believers today that we are not deceived. Anybody drawing back is fulfilling dangerous scriptures.
  20. Jude 12-13 LB When these men join you at the love feasts of the church, they are evil smears among you, laughing and carrying on, gorging and stuffing themselves without a thought for others. Just carrying on, not that they are believing; hanging on, highly selfish; being in sympathy with the faith.
  21. Long ago, God identified sympathizers of the faith and believers of the faith. Stop being in sympathy with the faith like James was in sympathy with the Law which neither they themselves nor their fathers could keep. He decided they should carry on with just three out of the whole laws. James, were you the lawgiver?
  22. It will take the lawgiver to modify, repeal or cancel the law. Simply because Christ telling them that he was the end of the law and of the prophets never sank well with him. He devised a means of countering what the Lord preached. He started rebuilding what Christ pulled down.
  23. When you are in sympathy with the faith, instead of believing and practicing, you will start rebuilding what Christ has pulled down. You won’t know the difference between where we were before and where we are now, the difference between milk stage of the ministry and bone stage. You will start approving even what God condemned simply because you see it in the bible. “Our message said….” What did the message say? Is it the one you believe or the one you are in sympathy with?
  24. Saint Paul noted those sympathizers of the faith and warned his true believers seriously against such judaisers, dangerous dogs who insisted contrary to the truth that circumcision of the flesh was still vital for salvation of a man’s soul. Simply because they were enjoying using it to punish people.
  25. That message you take delight in citing in your family until someone will be tempted to ask you is that the only message you know, are you citing it because you believe it and practice it or because you see it as a veritable tool to cage your listeners? You saw it as a veritable tool to regulate your family away from the presence of God.
  26. When the devil came to that point, he started using the topic to scare people without even caring to know the content. The topic is for everybody but the real content is revealed to the true believers because the real meaning is in the content and not the topic. Hence, the Lord wrote us a circular warning that nobody should depend on the other as far as receiving His messages on phone is concerned because you don’t know who is who.
  27. It is given unto the real seed of God to know the real meaning of the kingdom of heaven, the real meaning of the wisdom and power of God, which is Christ. Outside us, the entire world hold Christ as a topic without having a balanced view of the personality being referred to.
  28. Just like when we hear Spare Tyre as a topic. Some will simply conclude anything in their minds thinking that God’s meaning is of the vehicle. However, the real meaning, the content of the message strikes a true believer that God is decrying the poor attitude of worshippers towards the Christ they claim they are professing; that God is decrying the absence of vine-branch relationship between Christ (the true Vine) and us the branches.
  29. A situation where one who calls himself a minister of the gospel can stay for weeks, months even years without rubbing minds together with the personality that placed him in the office, neglecting what God told us many years ago saying: Do you know that by right and by virtue of your calling, if there should be a place ministers should be traced to, it should be my house, do you know that?
  30. Because the closer they are to me, the more they will be conferring with me, the more they will know some hidden things that will help them in their ministries and also help them to help their brethren; the more also they will be beneficial to me because if you do not come closer, I will not use your services. Watch and Wait / Wheels on a Wheel by the Son of Man 27th April, 2003 at the Household of God, Onitsha pg. 83:2-3
  31. No matter where you are, you are expected to close ranks spiritually and otherwise with the author, the source, the leader and finisher of our faith. As a minister, or even the pastor in charge of your household, how can you successfully lead a people to the one you have broken relationship with, the one you do not have a cordial relationship with? Yet, the devil will deceive the person into thinking that all is well, when all is not well.
  32. Let us go back to the book of Jude 12-13 LB When these men join you at the love feasts of the church, they are evil smears among you, laughing and carrying on, gorging and stuffing themselves without a thought for others. They are like clouds blowing over dry land without giving rain, promising much, but producing nothing. They are like fruit trees without any fruit at picking time. They are not only dead, but doubly dead, for they have been pulled out, roots and all, to be burned.
  33. All they leave behind them is shame and disgrace like the dirty foam left along the beach by the wild waves. They wander around looking as bright as stars, but ahead of them is the everlasting gloom and darkness that God has prepared for them. AMPC
  34. These are hidden reefs (elements of danger)… they are hidden because they cannot openly come out and tell you their divisive mission, that they are obstacles to peoples development in the faith; elements of danger because a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. More often than not, they cause the children of God to provoke God to wrath.
  35. It is easier to dodge a known enemy out there than to dodge such a false brother or false sister, an element of danger within. What if the person is your wife, husband, father, mother or child?
  36. These are hidden reefs (elements of danger) in your love feasts, where they boldly feast sumptuously [carousing together in your midst], without scruples providing for themselves [alone]. They are clouds without water, swept along by the winds; trees, without fruit at the late autumn gathering time—twice (doubly) dead, [lifeless and] plucked up by the roots; Wild waves of the sea, flinging up the foam of their own shame and disgrace; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of eternal darkness has been reserved forever.
  37. MSG These people are eyesores at your love feasts as you worship and eat together. They’re giving you a black eye—carousing shamelessly, grabbing anything that isn’t nailed down. They’re— Puffs of smoke pushed by gusts of wind; late autumn trees stripped clean of leaf and fruit, Doubly dead, pulled up by the roots; wild ocean waves leaving nothing on the beach but the foam of their shame; Lost stars in outer space on their way to the black hole.
  38. Somebody being doubly dead in the midst of God’s children? The ground and pillar of truth that is composed of lively stones, you allow yourself to be dead, not just dead but doubly dead? A fish that dies in a bowel of water sustaining other fishes, God said what killed that fish is inside the fish and not inside the water. Who will resurrect such a fellow from double death?
  39. late autumn trees stripped clean of leaf and fruit – no single positive impact, yet they make contact. Being an eyesore, evil smear, evil mark and a dent to the children of God in the same like precious faith.
  40. The only way to keep ourselves from fulfilling this scripture is to know what the word of God says, what he means and walk that way continually. They’re— Puffs of smoke pushed by gusts of wind. No taproot. When the signs are fresh in their memories, they say they believe but when small trial comes, they will change their confession even when God has told us that a call to fallow Christ is a call to suffer with him.
  41. The Quran also confirmed it in Surah 2:214 Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so ˹violently˺ shaken that ˹even˺ the Messenger and the believers with him cried out, “When will Allah’s help come?” Indeed, Allah’s help is ˹always˺ near. (Dr. Mustafa Khattab). God wants us to remain steadfast in him come what may.
  42. Hosea 6:4-7MSG “What am I to do with you, Ephraim? What do I make of you, Judah? Your declarations of love last no longer than morning mist and predawn dew.
  43. God has nothing to do with anybody that does not have unflinching faith. One that does not have steady faith in the Christ of our day. One whose faith blossoms in the morning and before evening, the person’s faith fades away, always changing their confessions from good to bad. “What am I to do with you, Ephraim? What do I make of you, Judah? Your declarations of love last no longer than morning mist and predawn dew. That’s why I use prophets to shake you to attention, why my words cut you to the quick: To wake you up to my judgment blazing like light.
  44. Every time, meetings must be called to remind you of your due responsibility in God’s family which you say you belong to. If harsh words are not used you will not be motivated into action. God will not always shout and scream as if he is talking to inanimate objects. If he gave us a mind of understanding, I believe it is for a purpose.
  45. I’m after love that lasts, not more religion. I want you to know GOD, not go to more prayer meetings. You broke the covenant—just like Adam! You broke faith with me—ungrateful wretches!
  46. God is after our lasting love, our lasting faith. But unfortunately, when the truth is highlighted, it produces twins – steady faith, constant right attitude and love that lasts in the sons and daughters of God, but it produces more and more religion in those that are not God’s children.
  47. God wants us to know him very well not calling more meetings where we shall agree on how to mechanically worship God.
  48. That is why such meetings do not bear the desired results. When those that know God meet, when they come together, the spirit of God is evidently at work. But prayer meetings when you have not known God is breaking of faith with God.
  49. That is becoming a truce breaker because you lied by coming to the gathering of those that are supposed to be believers only. The scripture in Hebrews 10:25 said you should not forsake the gathering of the saints as is the manner of some, but encouraging one another.
  50. Somebody that does not know God, how can the person encourage another? God is saying that the proper ingredients must be there first before talking of the other. It is God’s knowledge first.
  51. That will now dictate all our actions so that our gatherings will not be the gathering of unbelievers who do not know God, mere religious gathering. That is why he said we must go back to the drawing board because his people do not know him.
  52. X-Ray Vol. 2 preached on 14th August, 2022 by the Son of Man at the Voice of God Studio, Nsugbe, Anambra State pg 58:43-47 When you see yourself flagging in your faith, go over that story again item by item. When you are flagging, go back. Rewind it again. Revisit your life.
  53. You are always in recession. You are erratic; you are fluctuating. You are unstable with your faith, never stabilised. Go back. Revisit it over, one by one. Scrutinize it; evaluate it; review it. Any character that is not subject to review must lead you to disaster. Life is subject to re-examination from time to time. An unexamined life is not worth living at all.
  54. You might be thinking you are living in heaven while you are swimming in hell. You will only notice when you re-examine, review and re-evaluate your life with the present stage of the ministry. Then you will see how backward you are.
  55. That is why I keep on telling you, “If you are not moving when others are moving, you will be left behind”. For that reason, keep on swimming with the moving. Watch where the tide is heading to. Face that way while swimming.
  56. Heaven Made Possible (Introduction) Sunday, 19th April, 2020 at the Bridal Lodge, Nsugbe by the Son of Man pg 15:3-12 But as many as have fully repented of their evil deeds, have opened their hearts to believe the word of God, trusting Christ and Christ alone to save them; and are living the life of obedience to the truth as revealed by Christ, these are the people God numbered he will take into paradise.
  57. And to Almighty God, that will be his supreme success (Surah 48:2-5). Why is it a supreme success? The world we are living in is full of evil. It is not easy to save a soul in a generation such as ours, where people take delight in going to church, but they do not worship God.
  58. I say, people take delight in going to church that the scripture might be fulfilled that on the last days, people will go to church, but they will never believe and practice anything they are taught in the church (2 Tim. 3:5).
  59. People now replace worshiping of God with religion. ‘He is an ardent Christian. She is a good Christian!’ No one cares about being a child of God. Going to church becomes the order of the day. If you do not go to cathedrals for religious practices, you are not regarded as a child of God.
  60. This is because they have been beguiled by the devil, the spirit of the last day which is religious and political spirits mingled together. You are either political or religious or both.
  61. Whoever that is hearing the word of God just for the purpose of going out to make arguments with people, is politicizing the word of God. Whoever that is hearing the word, understanding the word, simply to go out to make arguments, to show the entire world that they are in error, and that he is the only one that knows the truth when the truth is not evident in his daily life, that person is a politician.
  62. While the one who takes delight in sleeping in the church, takes delight in night vigils, fasting and praying, takes delight in doing all the corporal works of mercy as directed by his church; he pays his church dues even in this time of hardship, he will find it difficult to be indebted to the church; he is having church righteousness and that is religious man.
  63. He does not obey the word, but he obeys the rules and regulations governing his denomination so that he will be winning their approval. He will be promoted from one rank in the church to another. But it is not so with God and his people.
  64. Verse 12 Find out the spirit that is in operation in you. Find out what you are doing with the word of God. Find out the essence of our gathering.
  65. Hosea 6:4-7 NIV “What can I do with you, Ephraim? What can I do with you, Judah? Your love is like the morning mist, like the early dew that disappears. Therefore I cut you in pieces with my prophets, I killed you with the words of my mouth— then my judgments go forth like the sun.
  66. For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings. As at Adam,[b] they have broken the covenant; they were unfaithful to me there. God desires mercy not sacrifice before doing the will of God because to be compassionate is to do the will of God.
  67. How can one that does not know God be offering sacrifice? To whom is the sacrifice offered then? That was where Cain hit the rock. He was offering sacrifice without first of all knowing the personality he was offering the sacrifice to, having his eyes on the same offering he claimed he was offering to God instead of praying that his sacrifice be made acceptable.
  68. Because he did not know God, he thought that his father was deceiving him into worship. He thought he was enriching somebody if he should be self-sacrificing. He was busy keeping record of his contributions so that he could claim it later. Some will go as far as withholding sacrifices and offerings meant for God. This is a wrong spirit that had its origin from Cain. God gave him his heart desire by disallowing and rejecting his useless offering.
  69. The Knowledge of God will open the heart of an individual to receive his word that will distil like dews of heaven and create a godly spiritual atmosphere making it impossible for you to have bile. The result is a good heart that is made the dwelling place of God. But when you don’t know God, and yet moving on anyhow assuming you know him without acknowledging and giving him his due worship and honor through obedience, the heart can never be right with God. It must be occupied by murderous legion like that of Cain.
  70. If we must covet, let us covet the heart of Abel without bile because he knew God, acknowledged God, worshipfully revered him via obedience, then he was motivated and inspired to offer sacrifices, thanksgiving and gifts continually to God. Remember that God did not only accept him first but also accepted him more than the sacrifice. Because we must be made holy and acceptable sweet fragrance offering unto God first.
  71. If God has not possessed you as an individual, there is nothing you can do to please him and you cannot have the fear of God in you. You will be given to change. You can never be steadfast in your profession as a child of God.

[4]“I want to make the simpleminded wise!” he said. “I want to warn young men about some problems they will face. [5-6]I want those already wise to become wiser and become leaders by exploring the depths of meaning in these nuggets of truth.” [7-9]How does a man become wise? The first step is to trust and reverence the Lord! Only fools refuse to be taught. Listen to your father and mother. What you learn from them will stand you in good stead; it will gain you many honours.

Proverbs 1:4-9, The Living Bible.

MEDDLE NOT WITH THEM THAT ARE GIVEN TO CHANGE, BE WISE

Prov. 24:21-22 KJV My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?

  1. Calamity, doom, destruction awaits those who are given to change. That are not following God strictly, who takes worshipping of God as a mere hobby instead of a strict business, worshiping God only when he/she has the chance or is disposed.
  2. MSG Fear God, dear child—respect your leaders; don’t be defiant or mutinous. Without warning your life can turn upside down, and who knows how or when it might happen?
  3. LB My son, watch your step before the Lord and the king, and don’t associate with radicals. For you will go down with them to sudden disaster, and who knows where it all will end?
  4. The Lord is the high priest of our profession and the King of Kings. The two offices work harmoniously in him without a single clash. Now, the scripture enjoins us to watch our steps before him who is our Lord, our King, our leader, our all and all making sure we are not befriending the rampant radicals who are continually unchecked and uncontrolled by the word of God; always after their personal wills.
  5. They adapt to every environment, hiding their identities in Christ. Hence, they are always serving jail terms in devils stronghold. They are always taken into spiritual captivity by the devil. Watch your steps before the Lord.
  6. Watch what you process in your heart, what you discuss in your family; what you discuss with one another seeing that he is God that is everywhere at the same time. He is not only near but also afar of according to Jere 23:23-24.
  7. Therefore, wherever you are, watch your actions, what informs your decisions, utterances and actions. What do you process when you go to bed, when you are awake, when you are walking on the road, etc?
  8. 24:21-22 LB My son, watch your step before the Lord and the king, and don’t associate with radicals. For you will go down with them to sudden disaster, and who knows where it all will end? For you will go down with them to sudden disaster, and who knows where it all will end?
  9. Only the fear of God can keep us from this sudden disaster. It is for this reason that the Lord came in person as a guide so that all shall not be ruined.
  10. Psalms 14:1-3 NIV The fool[a] says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
  11. This is why He came down to take a people unto himself who he shall make to be free from all forms of corruption. Anyone that is not constantly controlled by the word of God is a fool, because you must accept that God is, that he exists so that you will start fearing him, which is the beginning of wisdom.
  12. There is no way one that does not fear God can be wise. The person can be corrupt, but not wise. Since Christ is the wisdom and power of God, anyone that is not in Christ is that fool who says there is no God; the person is highly corrupt and nothing corrupt can ever be with God.
  13. The deeds of such a fellow are as vile as vile can be, acting wickedly because he has concluded there is no God, of what use is fearing him? Of what use is repenting and doing his will?
  14. Psalms 14:1-3 GNB Fools say to themselves, “There is no God!” They are all corrupt, and they have done terrible things; there is no one who does what is right. This is a spiritual matter, something is right because God says it is right.
  15. Some will tell you that everything ends here on earth that there is no heaven or hell. Yet, somebody sitting down among God’s people will buy that idea. That is why it is very possible for the person to still be in the congregation, even preaching, but has concluded in his or her heart that there is no God. Where you will know his conclusion is through his character.
  16. He can never behave like one that has ever heard the word of God because the fear of God is not there. When the word is going forth, the person becomes temporarily sober only to last until dismissal time because the person has been addicted to evil, addicted to disobeying God.
  17. The Lord looks down from heaven at us humans to see if there are any who are wise, any who worship him. But they have all gone wrong; they are all equally bad. Not one of them does what is right, not a single one. Psalms 10:4 KJV
  18. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
  19. If you are not seeking after God, you are wicked and we know that the wicked must perish with this world. The person has no room for meditating about God, his wondrous works, his benevolence to humanity, his warnings and judgment. The person does not even think of what to do to please God. God is not in all his thoughts. A beast is better than such a fellow. The person should learn a lesson from Nebuchadnezzar’s experience.
  20. James 1:17-18 NIV Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
  21. God does not change like the shifting shadows. If God changes like the mortal men who are unreliable, he would have ceased from being God by now. He would have changed from being the Lord God Almighty to something else; but he is the same yesterday, today and forever.
  22. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. He chose to give birth to us through this life-giving word of truth so that we who accept and believe the word of truth will also remain unmovable.
  23. How can the firstfruits of all God created be unstable in the things of God our Father? First fruits are known for strictly taking after their father. They are their father’s successors in the sense that they follow their father’s steps strictly.
  24. How comes it that we are mere claimants because we have not strictly followed the footsteps of our father. The word of truth that gave birth to us cannot be shaken out of its position because that is the steadfast foundation upon which God operates in us and through us.
  25. This is a call for all true seed of God to be more serious, more spiritual and divinely orientated in handling the affairs of God committed into our hands. We have been hearing the saying that no successful man of God ever works alone but how many have taken it upon themselves to be a part of his success story? Only few.
  26. Psalms 122:5 There stand the thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David. You see, here, in the presence of Jehovah, in Christ’s colony, there are thrones; there are offices that look into matters, that handle the word of God side by side with Christ, the chief corner stone.
  27. There are those that minister with their substances to the needs of the ministry. Here, in the presence of God, we ought to see nothing but zealous believers, true sons and daughters of God who persistently bear the spiritual, financial, economic and all-round burdens of the faith with the Elohim because we are surrounding him as his children.
  28. If you let your own throne down, you are letting he that placed you there down and his spirit can never be pleased with you.
  29. I recognised that I cannot labour alone for the vineyard is extensive and no successful man of God ever works alone. I decided to co-opt you as my co-labourers. Thus if you are my co-labourers, why should I clash with you?
  30. You are my co-labourers, but I am the Chief Labourer. I hired you and assigned work to you. You are accountable to me. Why should I clash with you? Unless you want to take over my farm. I am the one that will reward you. You should see it as a privilege being a co-labourer with me.

Watch and Wait / Wheels on a Wheel by the Son of Man 27th April, 2003 at the Household of God, Onitsha pg. 54:44-45

  1. James 1:17-18 LB But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow. All the attributes of God have remained the same, permanent.
  2. He has been the only source of truth from time immemorial. That is why we human beings, those who have walked and talked with him have not been consumed and we did not find it difficult identifying him once he displayed is usual characteristics.
  3. As many as were acquainted with him and his ancient characteristics exclaimed na All that are of God must be like God, having unflinching faith in him unto death like our Mummy Nzubechi Joy Odoemena, the very Queen of paradise. She was exclaiming ‘this God’ because she knew Him very well and pinned her hope in him without wavering. That was why God decided to give her a place of rest ahead of time when the ovation was still very high to avoid stories along the way.
  4. But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and he shines forever without change or shadow. And it was a happy day for him when he gave us our new lives through the truth of his Word, and we became, as it were, the first children in his new family. Hallelujah!
  5. It was a very happy day for God upon giving us our new lives through this word of truth. We became the first children in the new family of God. New in the sense that no dispensation has to look back to past dispensations. He established a family of faith because there was no faith on earth when he arrived. All he met was apostacy.
  6. Are we still maintaining the life of that truth that brought joy and happiness to God when he first introduced us to it? How many have already abandoned this pathway of truth, picking up lifestyles from our surroundings, patterning after this evil generation?
  7. How many ministers still have the thought of God in them, knowing that we must work hard so as to attract well done from He that ordained us upon examination of our works. Do you think everybody will have the opportunity to become God’s co-labourer? Nobody bribes it. There is nobody here that has ever bribed me to ordain him. No.
  8. I ordained you by divine directive either to help you to succeed so that you will help me or to enable. me to expose you because there are certain things that are in you which I will not know until I exalt your office. Then that thing will come out. Thus when I ordain you, I ordain you for two purposes.
  9. If you find out the reason why I ordained you, you will always be happy with me. I do not say you should begin now to think: “Could it be that brother ordained me to expose me?” Please do not think that way if your heart is pure and your conscience is clean. Watch and Wait / Wheels on a Wheel by the Son of Man 27th April, 2003 at the Household of God, Onitsha pg. 55:47-49
  10. Let us go back to the drawing board as directed by the Lord of hosts. If our heart is pure and our conscience is clean, God will give us a helping hand unto the end. The evidence that your heart is pure and conscience clean is that the desire to do the will of God will always be there; not having the heart of Cain who, though was the first child, was treacherous and disloyal to his father and the God of his father.
  11. This goes to show that any child that becomes disloyal, disobedient and disdainful to his or her godly parents can never be godly. The child must be prodigious. So, as first children in God’s new family, we should know what this means. A good first child takes after the father; he is a good replacement of the father because he possesses all that the father has.
  12. In the absence of the father whether through incapacitation, bodily infirmities or even death, there is no shaking because he is capable and qualified to handle family situations and maintain external relationship as the father has been doing it. This is a challenge to all of us who call ourselves God’s children.
  13. Nothing disturbs and discourages a father more than seeing none of his children coming up in the right way. When he looks back and sees his children taking after contrariness and waywardness, he feels like recalling all he wasted on them in the name of training. He feels like auctioning all he has acquired in life so as to leave nothing behind for the good-for-nothing children.

…. Whosoever that abides in the Lord, the same will live forever with Him. There, you get abundant life, abundant happiness, abundant joy, abundant pleasure, all these things are sufficient in Christ. Thus, let Christ be your sufficiency.  Christ is my sufficiency. He is sufficient to me. If Christ is not sufficient for you, you have a problem you cannot solve. If you do not know what to do, come to God. You do not know whether to go left or right, come to God. For without Him you have no helper.

DESTRUCTION AWAITS ALL WHO DRAW BACK FROM GOD

Psalms 125:1-5 GNB Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which can never be shaken, never be moved. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, now and forever.

  1. The wicked will not always rule over the land of the righteous; if they did, the righteous themselves might do evil.
  2. Lord, do good to those who are good, to those who obey your commands. But when you punish the wicked, punish also those who abandon your ways. Peace be with Israel! Those who abandon, disregard, neglect and ignore God and his ways, counsels, warnings, chastisements, injunctions and instructions are in danger of God’s punishment.
  3. The truth has been evidently set clear before us with many convincing demonstrations, unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs. If anyone should now abandon this pathway of truth and join the world, doom, destruction and disaster awaits such a fellow. Warnings usually come from God before destruction.
  4. NIV those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
  5. The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, for then the righteous might use their hands to do evil. Lord, do good to those who are good, to those who are upright in heart. But those who turn to crooked ways the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
  6. To banish means to send away, deport, exile and throw away. That is why God always reminds us that the window of his ark is still open. Through that window, anyone that refuses to continue in the truth as handed down to us by God will be banished from him and thrown back into the waters which is the world where there is gloominess, mourning, darkness, suffering and gnashing of teeth.
  7. Those that abandon the ways of God for the ways of the enemy will be exiled from Christ eternally. The family of God will no longer be for such people.
  8. Zephaniah 1:5-6 I will destroy anyone who goes up on the roof and worships the sun, the moon, and the stars. I will also destroy those who worship me and swear loyalty to me, but then take oaths in the name of the god Molech. I will destroy those who have turned back and no longer follow me, those who do not come to me or ask me to guide them.” GNT
  9. Doom, disaster, destruction awaits those who hold God with their lips and their hearts are somewhere else far away from God.
  10. Now, watch those that have turned back from God, they are no longer coming to him, they no longer enquire of him or ask for his guidance, God said doom also awaits them. He will give them the same position with those that never served God before because they rejected God along the way.
  11. And angels who did not keep (care for, guard, and hold to) their own first place of power but abandoned their proper dwelling place—these He has reserved in custody in eternal chains (bonds) under the thick gloom of utter darkness until the judgment and doom of the great day Jude 6 AMP.
  12. The ancient document made us realize that such ministers who abandon their responsibilities will be punished for ten thousand years. Nobody should take the word of God lightly because God means what he says and we know that he can do all things. The life we live today is still an opportunity to make amends.
  13. Jeremiah 15:6 You have rejected me,” declares the LORD. “You keep on backsliding. So I will reach out and destroy you; I am tired of holding back. NIV
  14. “You left me, remember?” God’s Decree. “You turned your back and walked out. So I will grab you and hit you hard. I’m tired of letting you off the hook.
  15. If we draw near to God, he will draw near to us. But when we wander away from him in our hearts by approving everything as good, God will become tied of withholding his anger. Let us watch our steps before God so that we will not walk out on God, for that means eternal separation from Him.
  16. Hebrews 6:17-18 AMPC Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath.
  17. God knew from the foundation of the world that those whom he prepared this eternal life, whom he gave the promise of eternal rest to, those for whom he slew the lamb from the foundation of the world, that a time would come when some of them will start dragging their legs.
  18. However, God did not want His very own to be a part of such spiritual sluggishness. Having convinced all and sundry from the very beginning, he still went as far as desiring to show us more convincingly and beyond every reasonable doubt, the steadfastness of his promise. He decided to further prove to all he purposed to inherit that promise that he says what he means and what he says goes the same way it is uttered by the mouth of God.
  19. That is why the uttered word, the spoken word remains the original seed because once God has spoken it, it is guaranteed. So God decided to mediate, to intervene, to act as an arbiter between us and doubt; to ensure that doubt will have no part in the hearts of all he destined and purposed for that eternal rest.
  20. He stood in the gap to banish unbelief. It was only then that he stood high above all and proclaimed it that he had succeeded in routing out and defeating unbelief in the camp of God, that if it remaineth, it was traceable to families and individuals that cherished it.
  21. Because there are some families and individuals that decided never to let go the spirit of doubt. No matter what is preached, no matter what God displays, no matter how it is expressed, they still have some misgivings. They claim to have understood today, tomorrow they raise questions clearly suggesting to you that they have decided never to flow with the wave of truth.
  22. Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath. This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us,
  23. The Son of Man promised us, taking an oath with his name that he has come down among us never to depart for there is no other place he will be God if not among us; though he must punish every erring fellow, but his love remains with us.
  24. All that God says and does are for his own. He went further to promise us that somebody MUST be saved among us. He brought down the bow of covenant, revealed a series of many convincing demonstrations, unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs.
  25. We also heard the voice from the excellent glory, confirming and affirming that we are with the right person, the Lord God Almighty, the main man, the very Son of Man. To prove he is the very ancient of days, He brought back the ancient pillar of cloud. He linked us up to our patriarchs through the preserved works that were well-kept-up for our learning.
  26. All these are aimed at making his children stable, rooted and grounded in the truth he set before us. we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us].
  27. We who have fled to him for refuge as our indestructible asylum; remember no one comes to him except the father in him draws the person. If you force yourself on God, detachment is inevitable because he never called you according to his divine purpose.
  28. There is a hope that is set before every elect of God. What is that hope? Christ in you, Christ in me, the hope of our glory. There is that hope that our dying bodies will be glorified, transformed and changed to immortal bodies.
  29. Anybody in Christ with this hope always has what the scripture called mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to keep that hope aflame. Our strong encouragement comes from no other source than the word of God.
  30. Even if he wounds us, we are encouraged by the fact that he will also be the one to bind us, to heal the wound because he is the only healer.
  31. This mighty indwelling strength is what helps us to resist all the gimmicks and attention-grabbing ploys of the devil no matter how he comes.
  32. The power bank of God’s word in us will always raise a standard in us to resist him so that he will flee at that moment.
  33. Hebrews 6:17-18 RSV So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he interposed with an oath, so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible that God should prove false, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.
  34. We don’t hesitate to seize, to grab the hope of dinning with Christ in the hereafter; the hope that we are secured in Christ. It is right before us, we have come face to face with Christ and his eternal salvation, no room for slacking or turning our backs against the truth because we are well aware of the awful consequences.
  35. Look at one of the consequences as highlighted by the Lord. …. You see, when you come face to face with the truth and you turn your back against the truth, get ready. Your wild life will never be controlled in this life; and the end thereof will be death.
  36. When you come face to face with the truth and turn your back away from that truth, your wild life can never be controlled again. Your wild life will follow you into hell because truth has been revealed to you that will set you free Heaven Made Possible (Introduction) by the Son of Man, Sunday, 19th April, 2020 at the Bridal Lodge, Nsugbe pg 36:29-31
  37. On this note, I say all thanks to the Son of Man, our Lord and Master for this privilege and anointing. Thank you and remain blessed the saints of God as we give the word of God the deserved audience and attention.
  38. With these few words, we are encouraged to remain steadfast in the things of God knowing that there is no better place, no better God, no better gospel, no better glory than what we already have for every other glory must fade away except Christ’s glory of the new covenant established on better promises which the Lord God Almighty, the Son of Man has brought into reality.
  39. In conclusion, therefore, everyone with pure heart and clean conscience should truly say amen to this Lord’s wish for all his children:
  40. If others have been failing, we will not fail. We are not standing it by our power, we are standing by his grace and enabling power. We are getting there. After all, we are privileged that he has given us all things. He has given us Peter; he has given us Paul; he has given us Jesus; he has given us Branham; he has given us HIMSELF; he has given us life and death even as our messengers. What else do we lack? Nothing! WE ARE HITTING THE FOCAL POINT BY AND BY. Amen. Watch and Wait / Wheels on a Wheel by the Son of Man 27th April, 2003 at the Household of God, Onitsha pg. 100:61
