HOW PEOPLE MISS GOD IN ALL THE AGES By APOSTLE PETER ODOEMENA THE SON OF MAN “Truth has no substitute” ©BRIDE OF CHRIST MINISTRY WORLD- WIDE

HOW PEOPLE MISS GOD IN ALL THE AGES

And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If
thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

  1. And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou KNEWEST NOT the time of thy visitation.” (Luke 39:41-44, KJV).
  2. … “And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
  3. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.” (John 9:39-41 KJV).
  4. The greatest problem man encounters in life is to recognize his day and its own message from    Almighty God. Another problem is to recognize God’s visitation in his day and the thing which God Himself has declared pertaining to man’s peace in his day. Lastly, is man’s inability to admit that he is wrong even when his conscience condemns his action to be contrary to God’s Word.
  5. In other words, man claims that he is not blind to the truth about the things of God. He claims he knows all things and has no need for other person to correct him. However, a wise man will always love to be told where he is wrong
  6. … “Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.” (Job 6:24 KJV).
  7. Until a man recognizes God, he can never be afraid of Him as God of Justice Who in His mercy killed Sapphira and Ananias in the Church in the New Testament and killed many of His own people that disobeyed His words in the Old Testament.
  8. People quote Malachi 3:6 … “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” They also quote Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever;” but by their actions, they deny these scriptures.
  9. If they really believe that God has not changed and will never change they must be afraid of Him because He judges without respect of persons and His judgment is true…
  10. … “But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.” (Romans 2:2 KJV).
  11. … “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
  12. But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. ” (Acts 10:34-35 KJV).
  13. The Jews prayed for Christ to come as their Messiah to save them from the ruling authority and slavery of Roman government like all true and concerned children of God pray tor the restoration of the Church of God as it was in the day of Pentecost, as it was in the Acts of the Apostles and for a revival (Holy Ghost) that will liberate all children of God from every bondage and slavery of Roman Catholic Church and other counterfeit Churches in the land owned by selfish individuals who do not know the way of truth.
  14. Nevertheless, when the Messiah came in answer to their prayers, almost all the Jews missed Him and that made them to call Him all kinds of evil names and lastly crucified Him.
  15. Dear reader, I want you to follow me gradually as we consider some scriptural passages on this issue and place yourself in the shoes of those Jews and see whether you can do otherwise if you were physically present in that day of their visitation.
  16. …”Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14 KJV).”
  17. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6 KJV).
  18. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
  19. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
  20. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” (Matthew 1:21-23 KJV). WEB CONTACT: www.brideofchristministryworldwide.org
  21. The above scriptures contain the prophecies concerning the promised Messiah that would come and save His people from their sins. This Messiah would he God dwelling among His people in human form.
  22. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14, KJV).
  23. In our earlier booklets, “Cry out Against the System” and “Hard Truth,” we expounded the understanding of all men to see and I believe that Christ our Lord Himself is the Almighty God and besides Him there is no other God. You may request for that free booklets if you have not come across them.
  24. When the Jews heard the good news about the coming Messiah, many thought that He would be born in Herod’s house or Pilate’s house or in one of the houses of the High Priest’s or noble men, of that day. But when He came He chose to be born in a manger and in a pen where every kind of harmful insects etc dwell.
  25. His birth was contrary to the expectation of the Jews and because of it, they were filled with confusion. Imagine Joseph, a poor carpenter and his poor wife Mary to be the earthly parents of the Messiah. This was unbelievable to many Jews. But God has never left Himself without witness.
  26. … “Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” (Acts 14:17 KJV).
  27. But who recognized the Messiah? Wise men from the East.
  28. “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
  29. Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Matthew 2:1-2 KJV).
  30. These wise men were not the wise men of the world but the wise men of God; people that take God by His Word, who could see the Star in the Heaven and went straight away to the place  the Messiah appeared to worship Him without consultation and reasoning. To the wise men of the world, this would sound foolishness to them.
  31. … “For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
  32. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
  33. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” (1 Corinthians 1:19-21 KJV).
  34. Abraham and Sarah his wife lived till old age without having a child until one day God came to them in human form to bless them.
  35. … “And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
  36. Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
  37. And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.” (Genesis 18:3-5 KJV).
  38. … “And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
  39. Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
  40. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
  41. And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
  42. Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (Genesis 18:10-14. KJV).
  43. From the above Scripture, we could see that Sarah laughed at the promise in her heart. In other words, she laughed at God. If she knew that the person that was discussing with her husband was Almighty God in human form, would she have laughed at Him?
  44. Now, He came in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ to save His people from their sin and they rejected Him and His salvation because they were blindly quoting the Law of Moses, quoting the Law without the revelation thereof not knowing God is worshipped by revelation (Divine) and not by the letters of the Law or by human reasoning which will only produce unbelief.
  45. …”All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” (Matthew 11 :27 KJV).
  46. When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
  47. And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
  48. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
  49. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
  50. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 16: 13-17 KJV).
  51. If God fails to open your eyes you will call Devil God and call God Devil and commit Sin against the Holy Ghost, which is an unpardonable sin.
  52. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
  53. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” (Matthew 12:31- 32 KJV).
  54. … ” Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
  55. But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.” (Mark 3:28, 29 KJV).
  56. … “After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
  57. Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.
  58. His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
  59. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, show thyself to the world.
  60. For neither did his brethren believe in him.” (John 7:1-5 KJV).
  61. The above scriptures tell us that unbelief started among the Lord’s brothers and sisters in His own earthly family. If they had seen Him as the Saviour of the world, what would have stopped them from believing Him even unto death seeing He was and is their last hope and the last hope for all mankind?
  62. … “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
  63. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
  64. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
  65. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
  66. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?”(John 6:38-42 KJV).
  67.  “Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
  68. And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house.
  69. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” (Matthew 13:55-58 KJV).
  70. From the above passages, we could see the great havoc over familiarity and spiritual blindness could cause to humanity. These people that could not see Jesus the Christ beyond the son of Joseph and Mary, whose brothers and sisters were very much around them, were they not the people that believed Moses? Did not Moses tell them that the Lord their God would raise a Prophet among them from their own people and if any man failed to hear Him he would be cut off from among His brethren?
  71. … “The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
  72. According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
  73. And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
  74. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.” (Deuteronomy 18: 15-19 KJV).
  75. … “For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
  76. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.” (Acts 3:22- 23 KJV).
  77. Did Christ not come from among them? Was He not a Prophet? Why could they not believe Him? It is a sure evidence that they never believed Moses. If they had believed Moses, they would have believed Him also.
  78. … “For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
  79. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” (John 5:46, 47 KJV).
  80. The same spirit is still on the land among the End-Time Message people that claim they believe God’s Prophet to the Laodicea Age; Prophet William Marion Brahman. They quote his messages without having the prophetic revelation of his prophetic messages.
  81. For that cause they became blind like the Jews who claimed they believed Moses but disbelieved Jesus Christ, but when what he prophesied manifested in their day, they call it Devil and blaspheme against the Holy Ghost thereby committing unpardonable sin.
  82. Hear their statement in the book of John 9:27-29: …“He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
  83. Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.
  84. We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.” KJV.
  85. How could they know Christ if not by divine revelation? Their eyes would have been opened but pride and arrogance fooled them until they missed Him. Today, some people in End-Time Message limit God’s presence to William Branham as if God died when William Branham died in the year 1965. They say they are disciples of Prophet William Branham but concerning the five fold ministry which he said would take the Church to Rapture, they know it not. Can there be Five Fold Ministry without Apostle? Who comes first in the order of leadership of the Church?
  86. …”And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
  87. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
  88. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”(Ephesians 4: 11-13).
  89. … “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” (I Corinthians 12:28 KJV).
  90. Do they know that where there is no Apostle, there is no doctrine of God? Do you know that where there is no God-called and vindicated Apostle nobody will know about the fulfillment of any prophecy or Scripture? How I wish they would accept the fact that they are blind so that God will open their spiritual eyes and save them.
  91. Saint John 7:10-20: “But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
  92. Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
  93. And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
  94. Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
  95. Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
  96. And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
  97. Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
  98. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
  99. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
  100. Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?” KJV.
  101.  In this passage, some said He was a “good man” while others said He “deceived” the people. Generally all of them marveled at His wisdom since He did not attend any Bible College therefore they concluded finally that He had a devil. What an awful picture.
  102. The Jews (most religious people on Earth), there in Jerusalem (the most religious city in the world), said to Jesus Christ their Messiah (The most holy One of Israel), their last hope, that He had a devil. Spiritual blindness is very dangerous.
  103. Dear reader, pray that you will escape from this same spiritual blindness otherwise you might hear that “He has come and gone”, then you will only be waiting for the wrath of God that will come upon the children of disobedience. The same way many have marveled at the things which the Lord has been doing nowadays in the midst of His people since He came down in their midst and declared them His own people whom He has chosen for a special work on Earth.
  104. What baffles people most has been the type of knowledge and wisdom God has given to His ministers in the FIVE-HOLD MINISTRY of Ephesians 4:11 to place the Holy Scriptures rightfully and to restore the same old Church as it was in the Acts of the Apostles as prophesied by Prophet William Marrion Branham in line with the Holy Scriptures.
  105. Some people instead of giving glory to God for bringing to pass the prophecies of Brother Branham in our day with many vindicated supernatural signs, those people because of envy and jealously conspired and called God’s move devilish, and God’s approved servants they called deceivers, while some acknowledged the Apostolic Ministry very gladly for the saving of their souls because the Word God spoke through His vindicated servants and apostles is only helpful to those that receive them.
  106. …”For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. “ (1 Thes. 2:13 KJV).
  107. Let us see the book of St. John 7:25-32: …“ Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
  108. But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
  109. Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.
  110. Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
  111. But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
  112. Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
  113. And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
  114. The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. KJV.
  115. … ” And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. ” (Acts 13:48 KJV).
  116. We read further in St. John 8:37-50 …” I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
  117.  I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
  118.  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
  119. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
  120. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
  121. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
  122. WHY DO YE NOT UNDERSTAND MY SPEECH? EVEN BECAUSE YE CANNOT HEAR MY WORD.
  123. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
  124. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
  125. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I SAY THE TRUTH, WHY DO YE NOT BELIEVE ME?
  126. He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
  127. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
  128. Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honor my Father, and ye do dishonor me.
  129. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.” KJV.
  130. Anyone that cannot hear or understand the Word of God (i.e. discerning between Word of God and word of man) is not of God. No matter how Christ tried to explain to the Jews that He is their only Saviour and God even their last hope, they still told Him in His face that He had a devil. One should always bear in mind that we are discussing: “How People Miss God in All the Ages.”
  131. Let us continue from St. John 9:16-23… “Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
  132. They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, HE IS A PROPHET.
  133. But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
  134. And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
  135. His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
  136. But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
  137. These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
  138. Therefore said his parents, He is of age  ask him.” KJV.
  139. A blind man whose eyes were opened knew Christ and called Him “PROPHET” but the religious Jews, Pharisees, Rabbis who claimed they could see and know every passage of the Law and Prophets missed Him and publicly declared Him “Chief of the devils,     Beelzebub”
  140. … “The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvelous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
  141. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
  142. They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
  143. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
  144. He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
  145. And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
  146. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words and said unto him, Are we blind also?
  147. Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.” (John. 9:30-41 KJV).
  148. How I wish that the so-called wise, learned, mighty, rich, beautiful and handsome, religious men and women in various groups could humbly and sincerely confess and acknowledge their spiritual blindness and ignorance to the true Word of God and revelation of the hour, I believe  that God would have opened their eyes of understanding. But because they claim to “know it all” therefore they remain in perpetual spiritual blindness which must surely lead them into the ditch of death.
  149. BLIND LAODICEA! How you go about boasting in your wretched, naked, poor and miserable condition, rejecting God’s eyesalve provided for you. You cannot know God by Bible college experience nor seminary experience. Not by how long you have been in a denomination, it must be by divine revelation of the Word of God. How people miss God in all the ages!
  150. Furthermore in St. John 9:13-18: …” They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
  151. And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
  152. Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
  153. They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
  154. But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.” KJV.
  155. In the above mentioned passage, the Jews said that Jesus Christ was not of God because He broke the Law of Sabbath according to their own interpretation.
  156. Let us read the following scriptures and see what the Law actually said concerning Sabbath.
  157. Exodus 20:11 … ” For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is , and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. ” KJV.
  158. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
  159. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
  160. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
  161. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
  162. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.” (Exodus 31:14-18 KJV).
  163.  “And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.” (Mark 2:23 KJV).
  164. From the above passages, one can see that the letters of the Law kills. The Jews strongly held to the letters of the Laws and lacked the revelation            thereof. They did not know that Christ is the fulfillment and end of the Law and prophets.
  165. Think not that I AM come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I AM not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” (Matt 5:17 KJV) …
  166. “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”(Rom. 10:4 KJV).
